Khazrak can really do a lot in the early game. The +10 melee attack to warhounds is very noticeable, and it makes hammer and anvil tactics very useful from the start.

You will get a lot of abilities that cause leadership drops in enemy armies, so they flee early, and then you can have the hounds chase them down. The infantry units, while they don't have the best stats do have good charge bonuses and the extra poison helps too. Khazrak starts with Razorgor chariots and a unit of minotaurs, both of which will be very helpful so you don't want to lose them.

The cat and mouse game can be kind of annoying on the campaign map, that's how it is with all beastmen.

All high elves are pretty different in SFO when it comes to their army comp, since you get bonuses for having different types of infantry near each other. So with early army it pays to have some Elven rangers next to Spearmen.

Tyrion also has Heir of Aenarion points which let him improve units to exalted versions.

I play with Mixu's Legendary Lords Mod as well, which adds unique lords to Saphery, Chrace, and Scourge of Khaine as well as adding a new Beastmen Tribe that starts in Western Ulthuan. So this campaign is a lot tougher than in Vanilla.

The larger garrisons in SFO make this campaign more difficult to secure the Shrine of Asuryan at the beginning. Once turn 30 or so is over, and things have settled down around Eataine the campaign gets a little easier and more like its vanilla counterpart. Morathi is going to come for Ulthuan at some point.

I always really enjoyed Tyrion's campaign and it's still a lot of fun in SFO.

I didn't play Tomb Kings at all in Vanilla. This was my first experience with them and I really enjoyed my game.

I was able to ally with Grombrindal very early and he remained loyal the whole game. In order to do this, I had to go to war with Naggarond up north, so that is where most of my my fighting was.

After they were taken care of, I moved down south to take out Morathi, which was easy. It's much easier to deal with Morathi in this campaign than it is as the High Elves.

I really like the idea of dynasties that you research and revive, each with their own legendary lords. Tomb Kings have Light magic, and Nehekara magic. Light magic is decent, but I don't care much for Nehekara
